January sees the Adam,Rouilly team joining thousands of people from the global medical education community at two major industry conferences in medical simulation and healthcare on two different continents.
First on the 2025 event calendar is the prestigious International Meeting on Simulation in Healthcare (IMSH), from the Society for Simulation in Healthcare.
This conference will see us heading to Florida, Orlando, from January 10 to 14, for a jam-packed few days focusing on the latest innovations and best practice in healthcare simulation. IMSH provides the tools and resources healthcare professionals need to advance their skills, impact change in delivery systems and practice and, ultimately, to improve patient safety – something which is at the core of our ethos here at Adam,Rouilly too.
Last year’s event was the biggest ever IMSH in terms of exhibition hall size and attendance (with more than 4,000 visitors) and we’re looking forward to doing it all again for 2025. This year also marks the show’s 25th anniversary where the focus is ‘Looking Back – Reaching Forward’.
Adam,Rouilly Director of Sales & Marketing, Tariq Shahab, Export Sales, Jose Palacios, and Product Developer, Daniel Mogentale, will be making the trip across the Atlantic for lots of networking, exhibiting and learning.
Showcasing Adam,Rouilly to medical educators
We will be showcasing most of our medical simulators on the Adam,Rouilly stand, giving thousands of visitors from medical education the opportunity to experience our UK- designed, manufactured, hand-finished, products in real life.
These include our popular CorMan Adult Nasogastric and Nasojejunal Feeding Trainer, The Hungry Manikin Paediatric Nasogastric Feeding Trainer, Digital Eye and Ear Examination Set, the improved Rectal Examination, Stool Assessment and Enema Training Model and the Obstetric Phantom Set. Also, our more specialised products – Amnio Abby® – Ultrasound Guided Invasive Procedures Simulator, Nose Bleed Trainer, Ear Syringing Trainer and Rhinoplasty Skills Trainer.
Visitors to the show will also get a sneak preview of our newly improved Debra Enhanced Impacted Fetal Head Simulator, which is being launched this year. Developed with leading consultants, this maternity model provides realistic life-saving training for surgical and midwifery teams on what to do when a baby’s head is lodged deep in the mother’s pelvis during a caesarean birth.
Director of Sales & Marketing, Tariq Shahab, said: “As one of the main global medical education events, we’re always happy to attend IMSH. We’ve been several times over the last 10 years and always find it really useful for learning about what’s happening in the sector and discovering new innovations. It’s also a great opportunity to get feedback from medical educators about our products and to find out whether there are any gaps in medical simulation.
“A lot of our products are designed and developed in partnership with medical experts to address specific training needs, so being able to talk to people face to face in this way is priceless.
“We’re taking a comprehensive selection of the Adam,Rouilly range with us and look forward to demonstrating these part-task trainers.”
Meeting with distributors
Then at the end of January, Tariq and Jose will be headed to Dubai for the Arab Health trade show. Promoted as ‘the beating heart of healthcare in the Middle East’, the event will bring together healthcare professionals and industry leaders across four busy days between January 27 and January 30.
Last year’s event attracted more than 3,400 delegates and this year’s is expected to be even bigger.
Those in attendance have the opportunity to learn about revolutionary concepts, innovations and exemplary practices in healthcare.
For this event, we are joining the stand of one of our distributors, Leader Healthcare, where we will show a selection of our products and meet with existing and potential customers.
Tariq said: “We expect 2025 to be a busy year as we’ll be launching a variety of new products, improved models and new partnerships. Events are a key element of our annual calendar because they ensure we stay up to date with all the latest innovations, themes and trends in the sector, as well as providing valuable opportunities to meet with customers, suppliers and distributors.
“The knowledge we gain ensures we continue to provide the right medical equipment to enhance safety in training and safety in practice. We’re looking forward to kick-starting a busy and eventful 2025 by attending these two major events.”
